About Us

Devon Waste Management Ltd (DWML) provides key waste management services to both the private and public sector within the region. Services include receipt, transfer, recovery and recycling of all classes of non-hazardous wastes, haulage and ultimate disposal of residues to landfill. DWML is delivering affordable solutions to a whole range of customers from national construction & development companies through local commercial enterprises to the resident householder.

We also handle and landfill bonded asbestos and other non-reactive hazardous waste for disposal. The company has a long history of shredding and on-farm composting of garden waste and the shredding and marketing of waste wood.

Within these services, DWML also operates a commercial and industrial waste trading division called Coastal Waste, which undertakes a collection, recycling and disposal operation to both commercial and household customers.

In addition, we undertake an environmental monitoring service including sampling and analysis of ground and surface waters, landfill gases, gas engine management and Technically Competent (COTC) management of redundant landfills.

The company is particularly noted for its management and operation of 23 Recycling Centres around Devon on behalf of Devon County Council
